Julius Baer seeks an Alternatives Specialist to lead and expertly advise on private markets and hedge funds within our Asia & Middle East coverage. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors and Fund Specialists to deliver sophisticated investment solutions and tailored proposals.

The role emphasizes client-centric advisory, cross-border collaboration, and ongoing education for RMs/IAs, reflecting our commitment to intelligent portfolio construction and risk management.

Formación

• 5–8+ years of experience in Alternative Investments.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation.
• Ability to communicate complex investment concepts to clients and colleagues.
• Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• English, Mandarin and Cantonese language proficiency.
• CPWP certification or HKMA/SFC licensing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage internal and external stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.
• Act as SME for Alternative Investments, incl. Private Markets and Hedge Funds.
• Provide portfolio-based advisory and strategic asset allocation guidance.
• Develop customized investment proposals and portfolio recommendations.
• Deliver presentations and investment updates to RMs, IAs and other stakeholders.
• Train RMs and IAs on products and positioning of alternatives.
• Build relationships with asset managers and industry partners.
• Organize client events, seminars, and manager roadshows.
• Support the team’s strategic objectives and drive business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and risk standards.
