Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited is seeking an experienced full-stack developer for the Securities Lending Technology team in Hong Kong. You will own end-to-end software delivery across Java/Scala, Spring and Angular, collaborating with regional teams to ensure scalable, robust solutions.

The role emphasizes TDD, strong communication, and the ability to work across time zones with remote teams to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience developing applications using Java/Scala technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Spring.
• Experience with test tools like JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, Concordion, etc.
• Knowledge of RDBMS databases like DB2.
• Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Unix.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverables.
• Good communication skills and experience working with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own changes from inception to deployment in production.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Scala and Angular.
• Apply TDD and best practices to identify process gaps and improve scalability and stability.
• Collaborate with global teams and remotely dispersed stakeholders to deliver software.
