Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced full stack developer for the Securities Lending Technology team. The role involves building applications using Java, Scala and Angular, owning changes from inception to production, and working with globally distributed teams.

You will contribute with TDD, SDLC discipline, and a focus on scalability and stability, collaborating with business units and other technology teams. Strong communication and self-motivation are important.

Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience in developing applications using Java/Scala technologies is a must
Hands on experience on Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka
Experience with test tools such as JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, Concordion
Knowledge of databases such as Sybase, DB2 and MongoDB
Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Unix
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverables
Good communication skills and experience working with global teams

Responsibilities

Own changes from inception to deployment in production.
Develop and maintain applications using Java, Scala and Angular.
Work with the business and other technology teams; communicate across regional teams.
Apply TDD and best practices to identify process gaps and drive improvements with a focus on scalability and stability.
Collaborate with globally dispersed teams and the role will be based in Hong Kong.
