Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced full stack developer for the Securities Lending Technology team. You will design and implement applications using Java, Scala and Angular, owning changes from inception to production with a focus on scalability and reliability.

The role requires collaboration with global teams, strong SDLC discipline, and hands-on experience with Spring, Kafka, testing tools, and databases.

Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience developing applications using Java/Scala.
Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka.
Experience with test tools like JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, Concordion, etc.
Knowledge of databases like Sybase, DB2 and MongoDB.
Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Unix.
Strong SDLC understanding with a track record of high-quality deliverables.
Good communication skills and experience working with global teams.

Responsibilities

Own changes from inception to deployment in production.
Develop and maintain applications using Java, Scala and Angular.
Work with business teams and global tech teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Apply TDD and best practices to identify process improvements and increase stability.
Collaborate with remote teams across regions to ensure timely delivery.
