Job summary

ST Engineering Mission Software & Services is seeking an experienced full-stack engineering leader to drive delivery across the full lifecycle, from discovery to production, in a consultancy setting. You will set the technical bar, de-risk decisions through prototyping and spikes, and coach client engineering teams to build lasting capability while delivering robust software on modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years as a full-stack engineer across lifecycle.
Experience coaching engineers and leading technical workshops.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices.
Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP).
Experience presenting trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and architecture design for greenfield and legacy modernization.
Champion quality engineering with test strategy, reviews, TDD and debt management.
Build production-quality apps on cloud platforms with CI/CD and IaC.
Define API contracts and integration patterns; run spikes/POCs to de-risk decisions.
Surface risks and communicate trade-offs across engineering and business stakeholders.
Establish monitoring and observability; drive continuous improvement.
Coach client engineers through pairing and workshops to build end-to-end capability.
Facilitate technical workshops across distributed and co-located teams.
