Job summary

Mox Bank in Hong Kong (SAR) is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to help scale a cloud-native digital banking platform. You will design and build customer-facing features and the supporting backend services, collaborating with product, design and platform teams to deliver value quickly.

You will work across TypeScript, Java/Kotlin and cloud services, implement secure, scalable APIs, and contribute to automated tests, CI/CD and runbooks to ensure reliability and trust in our digital banking

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience developing full-stack applications across frontend and backend layers.
• Fluent in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, with solid frontend experience.
• Fluent in Kotlin or Java for backend service development.
• Distributed systems, service design, and API architecture knowledge.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.
• CI/CD pipelines, production monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Scale and evolve a digital bank using cloud-native technologies and fast-moving teams.
• Build and continuously improve customer-facing products and the supporting backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, services, and user interfaces across the full stack.
• Deliver end-to-end product features from frontend experience through backend integration and production release.
• Implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions with emphasis on availability and observability.
• Collaborate across TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, and cloud-native services in a distributed architecture.
• Build and evolve event-driven data flows and API-first integrations.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong automated test coverage.
• Work with product, design, and platform teams to ship features that delight customers.
