Job summary

Joy Studios in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Full-stack Back-office Tools Engineer to own and build the B2B back-office platform powering partner operations. You will design, develop, and maintain dashboards, admin panels, and reporting systems used daily by partners and internal teams.

Reporting to the CTO, you will shape the product from the ground up, mentor junior engineers, and drive API design, data workflows, and LLМ-augmented processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications with data-heavy dashboards.
• Proficient in Vue/React and TypeScript for front-end.
• Strong back-end experience with TypeScript/Node.js; C# or Python a plus.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL for large datasets.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, state management, and modular software patterns.
• Familiar with modern build tools and version control.
• Experience with LLМ-augmented workflows.
• Degree in sciences/CS/engineering preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Back-office Platform Ownership: design, build, maintain full-stack B2B back-office platform.
• Game Performance Reporting: build reporting systems for metrics and revenue.
• Audit & Compliance Tooling: develop audit reporting tools for regulatory reviews.
• Fraud Analysis: build and maintain fraud monitoring tools.
• Game Configuration & Customization: interfaces for partner config of game params.
• API Design & Integration: design APIs connecting the back-office platform to backend services and data stores.
• AI-Augmented Workflow: leverage LLМ-augmented development practices.
• Code Quality: ensure quality through PR reviews and tests.
• Team Growth: mentor engineers and participate in hiring.
• Product Mindset: think from end-user perspective and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team: game engineers, DevOps, product leadership.
• Strategic Thinking: prioritization and roadmap for the back-office platform.
• Autonomy: define roadmap in a dynamic startup environment.
