Job summary

Ashford Benjamin in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build mission-critical trading and analytics apps. You will work directly with end users to understand complex workflows and deliver intuitive, high-performance products.

This genuinely full-stack role covers designing responsive React applications, building Go services and real-time APIs, and bringing systems through to reliable production operation with ownership and strong engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full-stack experience with frontend and backend ownership.
• Strong Go/Golang production experience.
• Strong TS, React, HTML, and CSS; Svelte or Vue is relevant.
• Experience building responsive, data-intensive apps with real-time updates.
• Good understanding of WebSockets and/or Server-Sent Events.
• Experience building reusable components, shared abstractions, SDKs, or platform capabilities.
• Strong API design, testing, and cloud-infrastructure fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with traders, researchers, and stakeholders to turn workflows into products.
• Own end-to-end delivery from requirements to production support and iteration.
• Build high-performance React and TypeScript applications for real-time trading and analytics.
• Design, build, and operate Go services, APIs, and backend integrations.
• Develop robust real-time data flows and data-rich interfaces for large datasets.
• Create reusable UI components, shared libraries, and platform capabilities.
• Drive architecture and performance decisions across frontend, backend, and data flows.
• Ensure reliability, maintainability, and observability in production.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership.
