Job summary

TimeStored in Hong Kong is seeking a senior backend/fullstack developer with 5+ years of experience in Java and modern JavaScript frameworks. You will work on development, system upgrades, performance tuning, testing, and production support for equities-related web services.

The role requires strong Spring Boot microservices experience, Maven/Jenkins automation, and solid knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL. Familiarity with React/Angular and microfrontends is highly desirable; English communication

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of backend or fullstack development experience in Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science is a MUST.
• Solid implementation experience in Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Familiar with automation tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Interest in distributed databases and timeseries tech like KDB+.
• Good understanding in React and Angular stack, ideally with microfrontends UI experience.
• Proactive with fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily tasks covering development, system upgrade, performance tuning, testing, and production support.
• Develop clean code aligned with team standards for crucial events.
• Configure settings and optimise performance of the current calculation engine and deployment process.
• Provide production support and BAU work for equities-related web services.
