Job summary

Binance is seeking a senior data engineer to build and maintain the core data infrastructure for stock and related financial markets. You will own ingestion, modeling, and governance while enabling rapid onboarding of new markets and sources for trading products and AI use cases.

The role requires expertise in real-time data processing, dimensional modeling, and scalable pipelines. You will collaborate with product, data platform, and AI teams in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in CS, SE, Math, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering, big data, or data platforms.
• Familiar with stock markets and investor workflows.
• SQL and Flink with real-time data processing experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python; knowledge of Kafka/Spark.
• Ability to resolve cross-system data consistency issues.

Responsibilities

• Own research, ingestion, cleansing, and standardization of financial market data.
• Design scalable unified data models and ingestion frameworks.
• Build batch-stream data pipelines centered on Flink.
• Establish data quality, SLAs, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance to define data usage boundaries.
• Partner with trading product, data platform, AI teams to define data semantics.
• Drive data engineering efficiency, metadata management, and CI/CD.
