P2P is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for building and operating the company's core data platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in market and trading data.

This role involves developing data pipelines, supporting data consumers, and utilizing modern AI tools to enhance workflow. Candidates should have 3–8 years of experience in software or data engineering and strong proficiency in Java and Python.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in software or data engineering with strong skills in Java and/or Python.
• Experience in building and operating data pipelines, including batch and streaming.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data pipelines end-to-end from ingestion to storage.
• Develop platform services and tooling in Java and Python.
• Monitor and ensure platform health through data-quality checks.
