Job summary

Binance is seeking a data analytics professional to support the Trading Business Unit. You will collaborate with trading, operations and product teams to transform large-scale data into actionable insights that inform fast, high-stakes decisions.

Responsibilities include building visualizations, models and experiments, interpreting PB-scale data, and presenting clear recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams, with time-to-market as a priority.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Math/Statistics/CS/Engineering/Life Sciences).
• At least 3 years in Analytics or Data Science.
• Self-driven team player with ability to learn new tools and techniques.
• Curiosity to identify trends and explain data clearly.
• Internal consulting/business transformation experience preferred.
• Interest in Emerging Technologies related to Blockchain, ML and AI.

• Work across data spectrum from engineering to visualisations, ML models and experiments for the Trading business.
• Analyze PB-scale transaction, operations and customer data with proprietary and open-source tools.
• Translate complex findings into simple visualisations and actionable recommendations for trading, operations and executives.

About The Opportunity

This role sits within our Data Analytics function, supporting the Trading Business Unit. You'll partner closely with trading, operations, and product teams to turn large-scale data into insights that drive fast, high-stakes decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work across all aspects of data — from engineering to building sophisticated visualisations, machine learning models and experiments — in support of the Trading business
• Analyze and interpret large (PB-scale) volumes of transactional, operational and customer data using proprietary and open source data tools, platforms and analytical tool kits
• Translate complex findings into simple visualisations and recommendations for execution by trading, operational teams and executives
• Be part of a fast-paced industry and organisation where time to market is critical

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences
• At least 3 years of full-time work experience in an Analytics or Data Science role
• A self-driven team player with the ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques such as proprietary analytical software, data models and programming languages
• A natural curiosity to identify, investigate and explain trends and patterns in data, and an ability to break down complex concepts and technical findings into clear, simple language
• Prior internal/client-facing consulting/business transformation experience preferred
• A passion for Emerging Technologies related to Blockchain, Machine Learning and AI

Competency in two or more of the following

• An analytical software (e.g. R, SAS)
• A data visualisation tool (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, PowerBI)
• A relational or graph database management tool (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Neo4J)
• Programming (e.g. VBA, C++, Java, Python)
