Job summary

CHINA INTERNATIONAL DEVOLOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED in Hong Kong seeks a detail-oriented Financial Officer to lead day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliations, and monthly and year-end closing in compliance with HK GAAP and HKFRS.

You will prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements, support audit processes with internal control reviews, and assist with interim and annual reports while ensuring tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Accounting professional qualification is required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on accounting experience in Hong Kong; with at least 1-2 years in a HK-listed company or Big 4 auditing listed entities.
• Familiar with HK GAAP/HKFRS, HKEX listing rules regarding financial reporting and disclosures.
• Solid experience preparing audit schedules and consolidation worksheets; proficient in Excel; good English and Chinese writing.

Responsibilities

Job Preview
Responsible for daily accounting, financial closing, and financial statement preparation. Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting documents for listed entity disclosure requirements in compliance with the HKEX Listing Rules.

Job Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliation, monthly and year-end financial closing.

Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in compliance with HK GAAP and HKFRS.

Compile audit working papers and financial documentation to meet listed company disclosure requirements; assist in the preparation of interim and annual reports; coordinate with external auditors, valuers, and other professional intermediaries.

Maintain financial records, conduct regular financial data review, monitor internal control procedures,and identify potential financial risks.

Assist in financial data analysis, support budget collation, and ad-hoc financial reports requested by management.

Support tax compliance matters, maintain proper tax documentation, and monitor tax risks.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; accounting professional qualification is required, CPA preferred.

Minimum 3 years hands-on accounting experience in Hong Kong, with at least 1-2 years of solid experience in a Hong Kong listed company or a reputable audit firm (Big 4 / Second Tier) auditing listed entities.

Familiar with HK GAAP/HKFRS, statutory audit, and HKEX Listing Rules regarding financial reporting and disclosures.

Solid experience preparing audit schedules, consolidation worksheets, and disclosure supporting materials.

Strong attention to detail, proficient in Excel, good written English and Chinese for financial document drafting.

High integrity, strong sense of confidentiality, rigorous working attitude.
