Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of fiber optic network planning and design experience.
• Knowledge of PON, FTTx, and civil engineering concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with site acquisition and deployment of telco facilities is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for project and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and coordinate passive fiber optic network implementations.
• Develop detailed plans and routes for fiber deployment including duct and manhole infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for network routes and cost-effective solutions.
• Create and maintain GIS/AutoCAD drawings and as-built documentation.
• Forecast CAPEX/OPEX and manage resources to meet budgets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Analyze performance data and plan capacity upgrades for scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues during planning and installation, providing guidance as needed.
• Provide standby support after office hours and handle ad-hoc duties.
