Job summary

HKBN is hiring an Assistant Engineer to support planning, implementation and fault handling of complex fibre networks (GPON and ME). You will work with GIS tools and support cross-team delivery in a fast-paced telecom environment.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or above in Communications/IT, at least 2 years of network engineering experience, excellent English, and a proactive, independent mindset. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Communications/IT or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of network engineering experience in telecom/IT.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good command of English and communication with non-technical colleagues.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide services on planning, implementation and support of complex fibre networks in GPON and ME networks.
• Manipulate UG planning and update GIS.
• Provide second-tier technical support and solutions for implementation and fault handling in networking projects.
• Communicate with other teams to ensure proper job delivery and provide support.
• Work closely with stakeholders to complete projects.
