Job summary

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks an experienced Exhibition Projects Lead to oversee planning, installation and delivery of museum exhibitions. You will ensure standards, schedules and budgets are met while coordinating with design, technical teams and external vendors.

You will manage procurement, supervise on-site work, and maintain rigorous documentation. Fluency in English and Chinese, strong organisation, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field (museum studies, arts administration, cultural management, or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience leading and managing exhibitions in a museum or gallery context.
• Experience coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide all-round support to the team and ensure compliance with museum standards, schedules and budgets.
• Assist in planning and on-site supervision of exhibitions from preparation to completion.
• Oversee production, installation, maintenance and dismantling of exhibitions within budget and schedule.
• Support design and technical teams with budgeting, procurement, and schedules.
• Manage contract-out engineering services, quality and budget controls for multimedia productions.
• Coordinate procurement processes for exhibition design related goods and services.
• Liaise between designers and contractor; monitor fabrication phases.
• Maintain tidy, systematic documentation and filing for the team.
