Job summary

The Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Building Services Engineer to monitor site activities, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and manage project tasks from tender through commissioning.

The role requires a degree in building services or mechanical engineering, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English and Chinese. Strong teamwork and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (Preferred background in air-conditioning or fire services)
• 1-3 years related experience, especially fire services or related building services engineering fields
• Proficient knowledge of building services installation and relevant statutory regulations
• A good team player with agile mindset. Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills are essential
• Good command of both English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office Project and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities and liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams throughout the whole project.

Job description

Monitor overall site activities and liaise with different stakeholders including clients, suppliers, subcontractors as well as project teams throughout the whole project;

Participate in preparing tender, budget proposal, drawing and equipment submission as well as project coordination and management;

Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams and subcontractors to ensure all site installation works are complying with contractual and statutory requirement;

Monitor the progress of project and conduct periodic site inspection, testing and commissioning of building services installations and follow up on defect rectification work if required.
