Job summary

Eclipse Trading in Hong Kong is seeking an Electronic Trading Risk Control Manager / Senior Manager to join our Risk team. This role will serve as the subject matter expert on electronic trading risk controls, ensuring that the firm’s electronic trading systems operate within a robust risk and governance framework.

You will oversee design, monitoring, and effectiveness of trading controls, challenge new initiatives, and ensure workflows meet regulatory obligations and internal standards, with

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in electronic trading controls, risk governance or related front-office risk management.
• Experience with trading flows, algorithms and regulatory risk controls.
• Strong knowledge of market abuse scenarios and surveillance concepts.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong SFC rules and exchange rules; APAC exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support electronic trading governance and control framework; embed regulatory obligations into technology controls.
• Review trading systems, algorithms and exchange connectivity for control gaps and risks.
• Evaluate new trading initiatives to ensure controls are embedded before deployment.
• Assess market misconduct, manipulation and breach risks in new strategies and workflows.
• Review controls against HK rules and surveillance expectations; maintain governance policies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for oversight of electronic trading activities.
