Sinofortune International Asset Management Limited is seeking a Trading Desk Risk Control Officer in Hong Kong to monitor and control risks from trading and execution activities across approved brokers and counterparties.

You will conduct pre-trade and post-trade risk monitoring, limit management, exposure analysis, and reporting, collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, and compliance to maintain disciplined risk oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience in trading desk risk control or risk monitoring within asset management, securities firms, banks, or financial institutions.
• Solid understanding of multi-asset products, including equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, order management/execution systems, and risk systems; Excel proficiency; Python or similar tools advantageous.
• Understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements applicable to SFC Type 4 and Type 9 licensed asset managers.

Aufgaben

• Perform independent pre-trade and post-trade risk monitoring of trading desk activities, including order/trade review, limit checks, and trade validation.
• Monitor portfolio exposures, concentration, liquidity, leverage, FX, derivatives, and counterparty/broker exposure against internal limits and mandates.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate limit breaches, abnormal trading activity, pricing issues, and operational risks.
• Maintain and enhance trading desk risk control policies, procedures, limit frameworks, and escalation protocols.
• Prepare daily and periodic risk reports, exposure summaries, breach reports, and management information.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess trading and portfolio risks.
• Review trade capture and reconciliation exceptions with operations and settlement teams; follow up on unresolved issues.
• Work with portfolio managers and traders to provide risk oversight while maintaining independence.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure activities comply with SFC requirements.
• Support new product, strategy, and system enhancements from a risk perspective.
