Job summary

Multipower Distribution Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to manage large-scale data centre UPS projects, liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role requires coordinating with the project manager and engineers to dispatch resources and ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of data centre project management experience, holds a relevant engineering diploma, and can start immediately at AMK.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in Data Centre environments.
• Immediate start available at AMK.
• Diploma or higher in Electrical/Power Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale data centre UPS projects from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate daily dispatch and manpower with project manager and engineers.
• Ensure execution complies with safety rules and regulations.
• Improvise and rectify after project completion, cross-check with customer before handover.
• Control project budget to meet profitability targets.

About the role

The Senior Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for management of various large-scale projects in data centre backup UPS power systems, liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Management of various big scale projects and liaison with client's management team, consultant and main contractor
• Liaise with project manager and other engineers for daily dispatch of various job sites and coordination of manpower accordingly
• Execution of projects and compliance with all safety rules and regulations
• Improvision and rectification of after project completion, cross inspection with customer before handing over to owner
• Control project budget to meet the company benefit in term of profit and loss for each project

About you

• Possess Project Management at least 3 years' experience in Data Centre.
• Able to start work immediately at AMK.
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Power System), Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.

• Required Skill(s) of Knowledge of Electrical equipment such as transformer, switchboard, UPS.
• Preferably Specialized in Engineering - Electrical or Equivalent.
• Possess Class 3 License.
