The candidate will manage the inbound logistics team, coordinate with Product Led, Sourcing, IT, and external logistics providers, and ensure seamless collaboration across functions

Qualifikationen

• University degree in business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience.
• 8+ years proven leadership of diverse & global teams in a matrix organization.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence across levels.
• Cross-functional experience across Finance, Sales, Operations, IT preferred.

Aufgaben

• Define and own the inbound strategy at origins; align with Product Led, Sourcing, IT and other stakeholders.
• Own Origin logistics processes; document and continuously improve SOPs, Shipping Instructions, and Manuals.
• Maintain data flow with factories and logistics providers; ensure visibility of orders and articles.
• Lead and develop the inbound Logistics team to meet objectives and strategic directions.
• Represent Global Logistics in Sourcing Management Team and coordinate with external providers.
• Ensure timely handover from factory to transport mode and secure necessary capacities (Carriers, Yards, Trucking).
• Drive continuous improvement with 4PL and related partners; manage disruptions and BCP measures.

Job Descriptions

Job Summary: Drive, and manage all Origin logistics operations for all sourcing locations globally and all ship modes. Ensure all products are shipped on time and in full, following the shipping requirements, securing the highest level of availability at the most optimal cost.

Responsibilities:

• Inbound Strategy
• Define and own the execution the inbound strategy at the origins, as part of the overall corporate strategy
• Represent Inbound as the business owner and ensure stakeholders (Product Led, Sourcing, IT etc) are aligned on priorities and projects
• Ensure each inbound team member is fully aligned on the strategy and subsequent priorities
• Origin Logistics Process and systems
• Take full ownership of Origin processes
• Document, maintain and continuously improve SOP’s / Shipping Instructions / Shipping Manuals with all involved partners
• Maintain data flow with factories (Scan & Pack / SO’s) and all logistics service providers
• Partner with product led organization on improving the system landscape – simplify and improve visibility of our orders and articles
• Operational Execution
• Ensure product handover from factory is executed smoothly and products are shipped in accordance to the defined mode of transport.
• Secure necessary capacities (Carriers, CFS stations, Yards, Trucking)
• Optimize resources in 4PL, 2PL, Carrier and within the brand and make sure the operations are executed in the leanest way possible
• Manage the 4PL (i.e. Outsourced operations) and all LSP”s through performance management disciplines – QBR’s etc.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with the 4PL, establish business cases and deliver value
• Operationally manage disruptions. Align on BCP measures and ensure necessary measures are activated
• Leadership
• Represent Global Logistics in the Sourcing Management Team and ensure transparency and expectations are delivered.
• Build, foster and maintain excellent working relationships with external logistics providers, sourcing community, supply chain management departments, finance functions, IT and other teams of GOPS’ COE. Be central escalation point in regards to inbound logistics deviations.
• Lead and develop the inbound Logistics team in achieving defined objectives and strategic directions which support corporate goals.
• Actively motivate and coach the team to create a performance culture paired with passion and commitment but also to support and develop the team members’ professional growth

Job Qualifications

• University degree in business administration or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience
• Min 8 years proven leadership of diverse & global teams and projects in a matrix organization
• Market experience preferred
• Cross-functional business experience (gained in e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations, IT) preferred
• The qualities necessary to forge strong interpersonal alliances and motivate others at all levels both within and outside the global organization. Leverage relationships effectively to drive individual performance and move the team agenda forward
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven level of strategic thinking / Big Picture and leadership through vision and values
• High business acumen around data architecture & data modeling
• Proven experience in the design and leadership of transformation programs and change management projects.
• Excellent communication skills and facilitation skills especially when interacting with different levels of business
• Pro- active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
• Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
