Qualifications

• University Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• Good understanding of derivatives products, market practices and trading platform.
• Sound knowledge of derivatives market operations and regulations.
• 12+ years’ relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth trading operations of the derivatives market (Work hours 2pm-11pm) by managing operational risks, providing services to Exchange Participants, and dealing with exceptional cases and contingency situations.
• Ensure trading activities comply with relevant regulations, rules and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service in Exchange Trading operations and maintain rapport with Exchange Participants.
• Communicate precisely with Exchange Participants and external stakeholders as the command centre for the Derivatives Market.
• Plan, coordinate and execute projects including system enhancements and new product implementations.
• Streamline and automate workflows, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Develop and review operating procedures and contingency plans.
• Keep abreast of latest international trends in derivatives market development.
