Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) invites high-calibre professionals to join the Derivative Trading Operations team. You will manage operations for trading futures and options, ensuring a transparent, fair and efficient environment.

The role requires a university degree in Finance/Economics, 5+ years in finance/derivatives trading, strong communication in English and Chinese, and willingness to work the evening shift (2pm–11pm) at Exchange Square, Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Economics or related field.
• Strong understanding of derivatives market practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth trading operations of the derivatives market (2pm–11pm).
• Ensure trading activities comply with regulations and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to Exchange Participants.
• Maintain precise communication with participants and stakeholders as the central operations hub.
• Plan, coordinate and execute market projects and product enhancements.
• Streamline and automate workflows and mitigate risks.
• Develop and review operating procedures and contingency plans.
• Stay updated on international derivatives market trends.
