Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience in computer operations preferred.
• Experience in 7 x 24 computer operations is desirable.
• Data Centre, structured cabling and electrical work environment experience valued.
• Good command of English and Chinese (speaking and writing).
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing.

Responsibilities

• Execute batch run and monitor day-end and ad-hoc jobs in multiple environments (production, DR, testing).
• Perform systems administration tasks including DR drills, shutdown/startup, health checks, promotions and testing as instructed.
• Provide 7 x 24 on-site duty and phone support to internal and external users.
• Execute backup jobs following defined processes and procedures.

Chong Hing Bank Limited was founded in Hong Kong in 1948. The Bank and its subsidiaries (including Chong Hing Securities Limited and Chong Hing Insurance Company Limited) offer comprehensive commercial banking and financial services to individual and corporate customers. These services include HKD and foreign currency deposits, credit, foreign exchange, wealth management, investment, securities, insurance and mandatory provident fund. Responsibilities

• Execute batch run and monitor all jobs, such as day-end batch jobs, ad-hoc jobs, in all environments including production, disaster recovery and testing
• Perform systems administration tasks, e.g. DR drill, system shut down or startup, health check, program promotions, testing, as per instructed or documented
• Perform 7 x 24 on-shift duty and provide phone supports to internal users and external users
• Execute backup job according to pre-defined processes and procedures
• Notify/Assist the relevant parties by providing the job log on batch job error, perform all problem/incidents log and report by updating IT Services according to established guidelines
• Assist Operator to perform reports, statements and Pin Mailer generation and printing as per pre-defined processes and procedures
• Perform all housekeeping, facilities operations and security administration and control, e.g. CCTV camera operations and record logging in the Data Centre
• Assist Computer Supervisor to ensure smooth operations of the Data Centre

Requirements

• Certificate in computer related discipline is preferable
• At least 1 years of relevant experience. Experience in 7 x 24 of computer operations is preferable
• Relevant experience in Data Centre, structured cabling system and electrical work environment
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
