Job summary

Chong Hing Bank Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced IT leader to manage complex projects, driving design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of IT systems. You will guide a team to ensure quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance while maintaining production platforms for operational continuity.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration, vendor management, and coaching to strengthen technical and business knowledge within a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in management.
• Proven experience in large-scale project management and system implementation.
• Strong background in vendor management, tendering and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, FPS payment systems is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

• Manage IT projects and enhancements to ensure deliverables meet requirements in quality, compliance, risk management, timeliness, and budget.
• Lead the team in design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of IT systems.

Job description

Requirements:

Bachelor degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

10 years or above of IT experience, with at least 5 years in management, preferably in the banking or financial industry.

Proven experience in large-scale project management and system implementation.

Strong background in vendor management, from tendering and contract negotiation to post-implementation support.

Knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, FPS payment systems is preferred.

Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Self-motivated with strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

A collaborative team player with negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluent in Putonghua.
