Job summary

Cathay Pacific Group’s Digital department seeks a Senior Business Analyst – Data & AI Governance in Hong Kong to optimize governance processes, enable scalable workflows and self-service capabilities, and drive responsible AI adoption across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams, design improved processes, implement automation, monitor KPIs, and support audits and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IS, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics or related field.
• 4+ years in process optimisation, automation, AI governance or technology risk.
• Proven ability to redesign complex processes and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience with workflow automation, low-code/no-code platforms, RPA or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Data & AI Governance, Responsible AI, risk controls and auditability.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable processes and governance.
• Strong analytical skills with data, KPIs and benefit tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and cross-team communication.
• Understanding of operating models and business capability modelling.
• Knowledge of trends in Responsible AI and governance automation.
• Curious, practical, technology-oriented mindset for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve Data & AI Governance processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify challenges and develop improvement opportunities.
• Support rollout and continuous improvement of governance policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, maps, roles and rules.
• Identify opportunities to automate governance activities and workflows.
• Coordinate with teams to implement process improvements and automation.
• Monitor governance performance and use data-driven insights to reduce risks.
• Support training and adoption activities for new processes.
• Track KPIs and outcomes to measure value.
• Maintain governance records to support audits and reviews.
