Job summary

PI Business Consulting Limited is seeking a results-driven AI/ML specialist to shape strategy for personal banking by leveraging Generative AI, RL, and related technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The role emphasizes building and refining AI models, ensuring regulatory alignment, and staying ahead of AI trends. Prior banking/FinTech experience and knowledge of embedding, prompts, and LLM tuning are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in CS/DS/IS or related field.
• At least 3 years in analytics, modelling and ML/AI.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services or FinTech preferred.
• Experience with embedding techniques, RAG, prompts and LLM fine-tuning is a plus.

Explore and create strategic solutions and actionable recommendations for the personal banking business by leveraging emerging AI technologies such as Generative & Agentic AI, Reinforcement Learning, and Machine Learning. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, while developing and refining AI models to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Explore and create strategic solutions and actionable recommendations for the personal banking business by leveraging emerging AI technologies (e.g. Generative & Agentic AI, Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

Develop and refine AI models to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements

Identify and evaluate suitable AI vendors for specific use cases, managing escalations to ensure deliverables and timelines are met with excellence

Stay highly sensitive to the latest AI trends

About you

Degree or above with major in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related discipline

at least three years' experience relating to analytics, modelling and machine learning/AI/Generative AI

Experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech industry preferred

Experience and knowledge in embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning, involvement in search engine or recommendation system is a plus

Experience in machine learning model/AI/Generative AI related risk and control governance is a plus

Mature self-starter with strong drive, motivation, committed with good business sense and strong understanding of the personal banking market
