Job summary

Turner & Townsend Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management on major construction projects, ensuring cost control and quality objectives. You will coordinate with clients and stakeholders, oversee invoicing and reporting, and drive value engineering and lifecycle costing.

The role requires 5–7 years in cost management or related fields, strong communication and leadership, and familiarity with HK contract forms; CostX proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, construction, procurement, or related project environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; people management a plus.
• Strong business acumen with ability to drive client outcomes and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and knowledge of cost planning, value management, and life cycle costing.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams including clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders and support issue resolution with practical solutions.
• Act as Commission Manager and oversee cost reporting, cost controls, and financial accuracy.
• Lead negotiations, risk management and contract administration on projects.
• Mentor team members and contribute to recruitment and onboarding.
