Job summary

China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Credit Analyst to analyze corporate credit proposals, assess risk and monitor the bank's commercial client portfolio. You will review risk rating scorecards, track credit limits and adverse developments, and perform regular portfolio reporting.

The role requires strong English and Putonghua, meticulous analysis and the ability to work with relationship managers on site.

Qualifications

University degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related field.
Minimum 5 years' credit analysis experience on commercial banking credits.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Chinese; Putonghua required.
Proficient in Word and Excel; able to multi-task under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

Conduct analysis, assessment and evaluation on credit proposals for corporate clients.
Assist to ensure the proper handling of credit request and to monitor a high credit quality of the bank's portfolio of commercial clients
Review and validate risk rating scorecards
Monitor credit limit excess, credit ratings/loan classification changes, adverse news release, credit events and developments relating to counterparties
Perform regular reporting, portfolio analysis and research duties
Participate in bank projects relating to commercial credit risk and ad-hoc duties
Visit Commercial clients with relationship managers
