Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring uptime and driving continuous improvement of cloud services.

You will implement IaC, monitor performance, assist in incident resolution, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with project teams, vendors, and customers on cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
• Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and Azure.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform patching, maintenance, backup, recovery, and operational support activities.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and governance requirements.
• Manage cloud resources, costs, and capacity planning.
• Support automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.
• Work closely with project teams, vendors, and customers on cloud-related activities.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Coach and mentor junior cloud engineers on cloud technologies, operational processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.
