Job summary

Adecco in Hong Kong seeks a senior cloud engineer to manage Azure and Alibaba Cloud resources, drive automation, and support hybrid environments. You will implement Terraform and Ansible workflows, maintain enterprise platforms, and ensure high availability, security, and DR readiness.

Strong scripting and monitoring skills are essential. The role requires 5+ years in cloud engineering or platform operations, with certifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or platform operations.
• Proficiency in automation and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog and event-driven ansible automation.
• Experience with multi-cloud platforms like Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows, Linux, MS SQL DB, Networking.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-cloud resources: Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Site Reliability Engineering to ensure robust IT systems.
• Automation and DevOps using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Automated Cloud Provisioning with Terraform for Azure & Alibaba Cloud.
• Documentations: runbooks, architecture diagrams, and automation standards.
• Technical Projects: deliver in hybrid environments with high availability and security.
• Enterprise Platforms Management: servers, databases, SAN storage, DR.
• Operational Support: health checks and disaster recovery drills.
• After-Hours Support: provide support outside office hours.
• Problem Diagnosis: first-level diagnosis to improve reliability.
• Additional Duties: as assigned by team leader.
