Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/Cloud Platform Engineer in Hong Kong to lead PoCs, architect Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and drive autonomous CI/CD pipelines with security at the core. You will manage multi-region cloud migrations, middleware modernization, and implement robust monitoring and disaster recovery.

Applicants should have 10+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering, with strong Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform and Ansible skills.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
10+ years in IT Infrastructure, DevOps and Cloud engineering with CI/CD experience.
Proven multi-region cloud migrations and modernization efforts.
Strong Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS expertise with large-scale deployments.
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Bamboo, Git and pipeline security integrations.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in specification, setup and PoCs/demos of cloud solutions.
Architect and administer Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters with governance and Helm deployments.
Design and optimize enterprise-grade DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) with security & compliance.
Drive AWS cloud adoption (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch) focusing on automation and cost optimization.
Oversee infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) for consistent provisioning across cloud and on-prem workloads.
Automate cloud operations and develop infrastructure scripts for continuous improvement.
Manage middleware technologies (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, MQ) during migrations across platforms.
Implement monitoring/observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/EFK) for proactive visibility.
Enforce secure authentication models (SAML, OAuth, Keycloak, ADFS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in regulated environments ensuring ITIL compliance.
Lead root cause analysis and remediation for incidents; drive BAU excellence.
Administer and maintain servers across cloud and virtual platforms.
Implement disaster recovery automation with Runbook automation and OpenShift Operators.
