Job summary

Combuilder Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensure operational stability, and drive improvements. You will lead incident resolution, supervise automation via IaC, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with vendors and customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud experience, security governance, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced enterprise environment in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
• Monitor environments for availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud incidents and service disruptions.
• Perform patching, maintenance, backup, recovery, and operations support.
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls and governance requirements.
• Manage resources, costs, and capacity planning.
• Support automation initiatives using IaC and scripting tools.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and customers on cloud activities.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
• Coach and mentor junior cloud engineers on technologies and processes.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.
