Job summary

Argyll Scott Singapore seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive AWS experience to join a large-scale technology environment in Hong Kong on a 12-month contract. You will design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure while driving CI/CD automation and production reliability.

Responsibilities include IaC, container orchestration, monitoring, and security. You will collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to promote DevOps best practices in a complex enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AWS experience in enterprise cloud environments.
• Proficient in building scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar IaC tools.
• Proficient in container tech: Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure within AWS.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Support containerised environments and cloud-native applications.
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring, performance and security.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.
• Work closely with software engineering, architecture and infrastructure teams.
• Drive DevOps best practices across development and deployment environments.
