Job summary

ConnectedGroup Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud design and governance across a large-scale tech landscape. You will work with engineering and operations to deliver scalable, secure cloud platforms using AWS and Kubernetes, guided by strong IaC and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes architecture standards, governance, and mentorship to drive platform modernization and innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect in a large enterprise.
• Proven enterprise solution architecture experience in complex environments.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred; CKA/CKAD preferred.
• Deep AWS knowledge (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform) and Kubernetes expertise.
• Hands-on with Helm, Istio, Operators and container ecosystem tech.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation; CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab/AWS CodePipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise cloud platforms using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Promote architecture standards, governance, and best practices for cloud-native apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions aligned with business goals.
• Design microservices architectures ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Drive IaC, automation, and CI/CD to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies and guide platform evolution and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching across cloud and container teams.
• Ensure cloud security, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
