Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect in Hong Kong to lead design and governance of enterprise cloud solutions across a large-scale technology environment. You will work with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure cloud-native platforms using AWS and Kubernetes.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise solution architecture, deep AWS/Kubernetes expertise, and strong IaC/CI/CD skills, with a focus on security and governance.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Solutions Architect in a large enterprise.
• Proven enterprise solution architecture experience in complex environments.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.
• CKA or CKAD certification preferred.
• Deep AWS expertise: EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Strong Kubernetes experience across architecture, deployment, scaling, security, and operations.
• Hands-on with Helm, Istio, Operators, and container ecosystem technologies.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline).
• Knowledge of observability platforms: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Strong cloud security, IAM, network security, and Kubernetes RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise cloud platforms using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Define architecture standards, governance, and best practices for cloud-native development.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Design microservices-based architectures with high availability and resilience.
• Drive IaC, automation, and CI/CD to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend platform improvements and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Ensure security, risk management, and regulatory compliance in cloud environments.
• Develop architectural roadmaps, technical standards, solution blueprints, and governance models.
