Job summary

Uplift People Consulting is seeking a Senior Client Partner to drive Spotify business in Greater China, focusing on export and cross-border opportunities. You will build flagship partner relationships, sell Spotify ad products, and lead strategic account plans to grow revenue.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, fluency in Mandarin and English, and a proven track record of delivering against ambitious targets while coordinating cross-region teams and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Well-acquainted with the advertising business in Greater China, including export.
• Data-driven with ability to deliver against aggressive goals.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Business proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Advertising, Business, Communications or Marketing.
• 5–8+ years of experience in media agency, media owner/publisher, client management or sales.
• Knowledge of online and offline media planning and buying including programmatic; ability to craft creative audio/digital client solutions.
• Obsessed with customer satisfaction with a proven track record to build internal and external relationships.
• Ability to deliver on multiple priorities with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
• Dexterity in reports/presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote; Salesforce, DSM and DFP a plus.
• Strong team player, adaptable with a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment across external/internal teams to deliver campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with flagship partners in the Greater China Region, proactively identifying opportunities to grow the accounts and deepen the partnerships.
• Sell Spotify ad products including audio, video and branded partnerships to grow advertising revenue.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with the client's business objectives, identifying growth opportunities and addressing challenges.
• Achieve revenue targets through planning, data analysis of past performance, and projecting future performance.
• Communicate progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders across time zones.
• Work cross-regionally and cross-functionally to build cohesive partnerships with peers and external stakeholders.
• Work across multiple agency departments to deliver campaigns (programmatic, offline and digital, branded content and innovation).
• Partner with internal marketing, brand partnerships, and label relations teams to maximize revenue.
• Represent the company at events and act as a brand ambassador.
