Job summary

Pathsight Limited is looking for a C++ Specialist to support and optimise our financial trading system in Hong Kong. You will diagnose defects, implement fixes, and enhance trading logic within a Linux/Shell scripting environment.

In addition, you will maintain Shell automation scripts and ensure stable trading platform operation. The role requires 5+ years in C/C++ development, strong Oracle SQL and ActiveMQ knowledge, and fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands‑on C/C++ development experience.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL, database tuning and ActiveMQ; competent in Shell scripting.
• Proficient with Linux operating environment.
• Practical experience with Web Services.
• Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin; good written and reading English.
• Must have experience building or supporting financial market trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support & technical consultation, troubleshoot critical incidents and deliver system optimisation recommendations.
• Ensure stable operation of trading platforms.
• Diagnose defects, implement code fixes and enhance C++ trading application logic.
• Develop and maintain Shell automation scripts for operational workflows.
