Job summary

EPAM Hong Kong is seeking a C++ Software Engineer for trading systems to build high-performance services for global electronic trading. You will work with trading and technology teams across design, coding, release, monitoring and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include developing C++ services, delivering changes end to end, troubleshooting production issues, building monitoring, and DevOps automation while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production-grade C++ applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Experience with Linux in production environments.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with Java or Python for service development or automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance C++ services supporting global electronic trading workflows.
• Deliver changes end to end across development, testing, release and production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve service stability, latency and throughput.
• Build monitoring and alerting to improve availability and incident response.
• Automate build and deployment workflows using DevOps practices and tooling.
• Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Contribute to modernization efforts including cloud-ready architecture and microservices.
