Job summary

CGS International Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Trading System Support Engineer to ensure high availability of our securities and futures trading platforms. The role focuses on daily operations, advanced technical support, system optimization, and disaster recovery coordination.

You will work with vendors and exchanges (HKEX, etc.), perform health checks, code automation in Python/Shell, manage Fidessa/OMS/EMS, and support risk and back-office interfaces.

Qualifications

5+ years in trading system operations or advanced technical support within financial institutions in Hong Kong.
Deep understanding of trading workflows across HK and global markets.
Proficient in Linux/Unix, SQL, and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

Perform daily pre-market checks and market-hours monitoring across core trading systems.
Serve as L2/L3 escalation point for complex trading incidents.
Maintain Fidessa OMS/EMS, iAsia, and eSunny trading systems.
Coordinate with HKEX and system vendors for upgrades, testing and DR drills.
Develop automation scripts in Python/Shell and enhance runbooks.
