Job summary

Talisman is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer in Hong Kong to join our team supporting a dynamic financial services company. You will design, develop and maintain high-performance C#/.NET desktop applications with WPF, built to handle trading operations, market data and analytics.

You will optimize SQL Server databases, integrate external APIs and messaging systems like RabbitMQ, and contribute to scalable, data-intensive workflows in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing production-grade applications using C# and .NET.
• Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with message-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience integrating external APIs and working with large, complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance applications supporting trading operations, market data and analytics.
• Build scalable, reliable software solutions to support business-critical trading workflows.
• Develop, optimize and maintain SQL Server databases, including complex queries, schemas and stored procedures.
• Integrate applications with external APIs, market data providers and third-party systems.
• Design and develop intuitive desktop applications and data visualization tools using C# and WPF.
