Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking a Senior Business Strategy Manager (Leasing & Facilities) to oversee daily facility management for designated properties in Hong Kong. The role includes preventive maintenance planning, supervising in-house crew and contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The candidate should have a degree in Building Services Engineering or related fields, with at least six years in facilities management and knowledge of building services.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, or related disciplines.
• HKIE/CIBSE/HKIS or equivalent professional bodies preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in facility management and building maintenance.
• Knowledge of E&M systems, local regulations, and statutory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility management and maintenance operations for designated properties.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance for building services (HVAC, E&M, fire, plumbing).
• Supervise in-house technicians and external contractors for quality service.
• Handle tender exercises, contract administration, and budget control for maintenance projects.
• Conduct regular property inspections and prepare condition survey reports.
• Ensure compliance with BD, EMSD, FSD regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with leasing/tenancy team on fit-out reinstatement and handover matters.
• Manage emergency repairs and provide technical support to the property team.

Requirements:

• Corporate member of HKIE, CIBSE , HKIS (Building Surveying / General Practice) or equivalent professional bodies preferred
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in facility management and building maintenance, preferably with landlord/ facilities management side
• Solid knowledge of E&M systems and building maintenance practices.
• Familiar with local building ordinances and statutory submission procedures.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as our Business Strategy Manager
