Job summary

Legacy Trust Company Limited is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional for year-round hiring in Hong Kong. The role focuses on client acquisition and channel expansion, targeting HNWIs, corporate clients, and family offices to build a robust sales pipeline for trustee services.

You will lead presentations, tailor proposals, manage inbound inquiries, and advance client onboarding while tracking market trends and competitive moves to guide new product and market-entry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of business development/sales experience in private wealth, fiduciary services, corporate administration, or financial services.
• Solid understanding of the trust industry, corporate governance, and offshore/onshore fiduciary structures in Hong Kong and key offshore jurisdictions (e.g., BVI, Cayman, Jersey)
• Demonstrated track record of engaging senior decision-makers, HNW clients, and C-suite stakeholders with strong negotiation skills
• Highly self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset and revenue-driven attitude
• Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to serve Greater China and international clients

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and acquire HNWIs, corporate clients, and family office prospects to build a robust sales pipeline
• Build strategic B2B referral partnerships with lawyers, CPAs, private bankers, and tax advisers
• Pitch and promote the full suite of Trustee services (private family trusts, offshore asset protection, insurance trusts, corporate structures)
• Handle inbound inquiries, qualify leads, and lead high-impact commercial presentations
• Assess client requirements to formulate tailored trust proposals and service quotes
• Negotiate commercial terms, finalize service agreements, and oversee onboarding
• Track emerging market trends and cross-border tax developments to recommend new products and entry strategies
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline milestones, achieve sales targets
