Job summary

Hong Kong Housing Society is expanding its building services team to maintain and upgrade shopping arcades. The role involves solving technical problems, preparing designs and tender documents, and supervising day-to-day maintenance across HKHS properties.

You will liaise with consultants, contractors, and government departments to ensure quality and timely completion. The candidate should have a Higher Certificate in Building Services or related field and at least 3 years' post-qualification

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years' post-qualification experience in building services maintenance in shopping arcades.
• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade B) preferred; Grade C Licence an added advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical problems and handle major repair and maintenance works related to building services installations.
• Prepare designs, budgets, cost estimates, drawings, specifications and tender documents for major improvement works for management approval.
• Inspect, monitor and supervise both in-house and outsourced day-to-day maintenance and repair works.
• Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and maintenance methodologies.
• Monitor the progress of major improvement works and supervise site activities to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility companies, Government departments and other relevant parties regarding maintenance and project works in shopping arcades.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of consultants and contractors.
