Job summary

HTK is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant in Hong Kong to join our team. The role focuses on provisioning, maintenance, and upselling of broadband lines and routers, with required shift duties and occasional ad hoc assignments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure, working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a technical institution in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in broadband line provisioning and maintenance
• Proven experience in upselling products and services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on experience with fibre optic technology
• Experience with home networking and IoT equipment

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair broadband lines and routers
• Troubleshoot and resolve broadband line and router issues
• Identify upsell opportunity and upsell additional products and services to customers
• Take shift duty and ad hoc tasks as assigned
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Stay up-to-date on the latest broadband and Wi-Fi technologies
• Able to work effectively with customers and colleagues in difficult and stressful situations
• Demonstrate teamwork, motivation, and a results-driven mindset
