Job summary

DESTEN Inc. is hiring a Battery Management System (BMS) Engineer to own all BMS-related matters on our battery projects. You will be the technical link between our external BMS supplier, clients and internal teams, acting as the BMS expert our clients deal with directly.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in Shandong and work with client teams internationally, traveling regularly to supplier and client sites. Strong English and Mandarin skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 3+ years experience with BMS for Li-ion systems in EV/energy storage.
• Experience as technical interface between suppliers and clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of contact with the BMS supplier on technical, schedule and quality matters.
• Translate client requirements into BMS specifications and review supplier deliverables.
• Act as client-facing BMS expert in technical queries, interface discussions, design reviews, integration and commissioning.
• Ensure BMS matches DESTEN cells and packs, including safety, SOC/SOH calibration and fast-charge profiles.
• Lead BMS validation testing and drive fixes with the supplier.
