We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior BI Developer (Multi-Platform) to spearhead our enterprise-wide Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics strategy. This is a critical technical and leadership role within the EBS department. You will serve as our principal architect and administrator, managing a diverse multi-BI tool environment that includes Tableau, FanRuan (FineBI/FineReport), GuanData (观远数据), and Microsoft Power BI.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining our multi-platform visualization roadmap, designing robust data modeling standards, and leading BI project delivery with at least 2 years of hands-on project management experience. You will act as the vital bridge translating complex business logic from senior stakeholders into high-performance, interactive, and localized executive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration: Act as the enterprise administrator for our suite of BI tools, managing multi-tenant sites, licensing, workspace permissions, and gateway configurations across Tableau Server/Cloud, FanRuan (FineBI), GuanData, and Power BI.

Unified Data Governance: Design and implement robust Row-Level Security (RLS) and data masking policies across all four platforms to safeguard sensitive regional financial and operational data.

Performance Optimization: Audit, monitor, and optimize dashboard performance. Direct extract refresh schedules, troubleshoot connection failures, and manage hybrid on-premises and cloud gateways (e.g., Tableau Bridge, FanRuan FineDataLink, and Power BI Gateways).

Cross-Platform Migration: Evaluate business cases to migrate and standardize legacy Excel/SAS reporting models into high-performance dynamic templates across the supported BI tools.

2. Advanced Modeling & Visual Analytics

Multi-Platform Modeling: Master the underlying modeling engines of each tool:

Tableau: Build complex visual metrics using Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, parameters, and Tableau Prep pipelines.

Power BI: Architect reusable semantic data models and write advanced DAX measures for time-intelligence and dynamic KPIs (e.g., MoM%, YTD%, GP Margin).

FanRuan & GuanData: Utilize FineReport/FineBI SQL datasets and GuanData's agile modeling layers to support localized Chinese reporting formats and quick-response retail operations dashboards.

Data Cleaning & Pipeline Management: Collaborate with data engineers to build automated batch ETL/ELT pipelines, consolidating multi-source transactional datasets (from SAP S/4HANA, Google BigQuery, or CRMs) into structured schemas ready for multi-BI consumption.

3. BI Project Delivery & Project Management (Core Focus)

End-to-End Delivery (2+ Years Exp.): Manage the complete project lifecycle for analytics initiatives, from requirement gathering and metric definition to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live training.

Agile Task Coordination: Track tasks, dependencies, and critical milestones across cross-functional engineering and business teams using collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

SOPs & Documentation: Author comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, data dictionaries, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain structural documentation accuracy and enable self-service analytics.

4. Emerging AI & BI Innovations

AI-Enabled Workflows: Implement AI-driven automation workflows (using tools like Dify, LLM APIs, and LangChain) to parse unstructured files and integrate intelligence directly into dashboard reporting systems.

Chat BI Integrations: Experiment with and deploy natural-language query tools, enabling business users to query BI semantic models and retrieve metrics via conversational chatbot interfaces.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related technical fields.

Professional Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise BI development, data analysis, and reporting.

BI Project Management: Minimum 2 years of direct experience managing and delivering complex BI projects from initial scoping through to deployment.

Infrastructure Admin: Proven experience configuring, managing, and maintaining enterprise-level server environments for Tableau, FanRuan, or Power BI.

Technical & Specialized Skills

BI Tool Ecosystem:

Expert level: Tableau (Desktop, Prep, Server/Cloud) and Power BI (DAX, Power Query).

Strong proficiency: FanRuan (FineBI/FineReport) and GuanData.

Advanced SQL & Scripting: Expert-level SQL proficiency (writing complex window functions, CTEs, and multi-table joins). Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for scripting and data automation.

Big Data Environments: Experience interacting with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Google BigQuery, AWS, SAP ERP, or Snowflake).

Certifications (Highly Valued):

FanRuan FCP-FineBI / FCA-FineDataLink

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

PMP (Project Management Professional) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Language Requirements

Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required to coordinate with regional technical teams and global stakeholders.
