Job summary

Sands China Ltd. seeks an experienced Senior Audio Visual Manager to lead the AV team, drive strategic plans, and manage budgets for large-scale hotel events in Hong Kong.

You will build relationships with hotel stakeholders and oversee multiple high-profile projects from planning to evaluation. The role requires a proven leadership track record, extensive hospitality industry knowledge, and strong IT proficiency in multimedia systems.

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in large-scale event facilities (hotels, event management company).
• Proven leadership skills and high dependability.
• Results-driven team leader with ownership of issues.
• Extensive hospitality industry knowledge and sales process experience.
• Senior management experience in operations of similar scope.
• Enthusiasm for achieving goals and outcomes.
• Proficient with multimedia computer systems; strong IT and office suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate with Senior Executives to develop a vision and strategic plan for the organization.
• Ensure the Audio Visual Team delivers highest standards of quality.
• Cultivate relationships with key hotel personnel to enhance stakeholder relationships.
• Develop an operational plan aligned with strategic direction and goals.
• Oversee planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of major projects.
• Provide leadership and accountability across the department.
• Develop and oversee department budgets and P&L management.
• Oversee HR policies, job descriptions and staff development.
• Establish a safe, compliant work environment according to laws and regulations.
• Implement a performance management process including annual reviews.
• Recruit, interview and select staff with the right technical and personal abilities.
• Align Department goals with Senior Management annual goals and KPIs.
• Manage the P&L process according to department financial goals.
