Job summary

Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited, the HK member of Grant Thornton International, seeks Senior Associates in Business Risk Services (FS Focus) to perform risk assessment, internal audit and regulatory advisory work. You will draft papers, assess risks, and provide actionable recommendations while guiding junior staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, proposal development, and engagement planning to deliver value in a dynamic financial services setting.

Qualifications

• University graduate with at least 3 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management and compliance review.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business; CPA/CIA/CISA or equivalent desirable.
• Experience in financial services or licensed corporations is a plus.
• Knowledge of AML controls is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills; English, Cantonese and Putonghua beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform risk assessment, internal audit, controls, governance and regulatory advisory work.
• Draft work papers and report review results to clients and teams.
• Assess client issues, risks and controls critically.
• Collaborate with team and clients to provide value-added recommendations.
• Supervise fieldwork and coach junior staff; assist in proposals and budgets.
