Job summary

Shun Yuen Construction Company Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead civil engineering cost control and contract administration. You will perform site measurement, payments, and coordination with subcontractors, consultants and clients, applying NEC provisions where applicable.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Quantity Surveying, has at least 10 years' civil works experience, and is fluent in English and Cantonese with strong communication and independent work

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying for civil engineering works.
• Solid NEC government project experience, preferably Option C or D.
• Good command of English and Cantonese.
• Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Site measurement and payment application
• Material and equipment measurement and order preparation
• Checking subcontractor's payment
• Estimation of works
• Coordination work with subcontractors, consultants, clients etc.
• Handle ad hoc duties and assignments as required
